艾登堡爵士是BBC知名自然节目主持。
英国极具盛名的的自然历史影片拍摄者。
1926年5月8日生于英国伦敦，后就读于莱彻斯特Wyggeston文法学校，毕业于剑桥Clare学院，随即加入刚成立不久的BBC。
艾登堡爵士在 1952 年开始他的拍摄生涯，当时他加入了位于伦敦亚历山大宫 (Alexandra Palace) 的英国广播电台 (BBC) 电视谈话节目部门。在 1954 年，他发起了脍炙人口的处女作《动物园探索》(Zoo Quest) 系列，在整整十年的时间，他走遍世界最蛮荒的地方。在这其间，他的节目包括政治、考古测验游戏、短篇小说、园艺和宗教性节目。
